Gwynedd Mercy University to Partner With Montgomery Bar Association to Host Campus Conversations Series on Civics Education
Gwynedd Mercy University and Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) will host a three-part conversation series titled Give Us Liberty and Give Us Safety: Understanding Civics in the 21st Century. The series will feature guest speakers on various topics regarding civics education with feature moderator Seth D. Wilson, Esq., MBA President.
The series will focus on how the constitution serves as the guiding framework to protect citizens in their everyday lives. These interactive presentations will highlight the language of the amendments, case law interpretation, and the practical effects in our society. The goal is to show the enduring legacy of the Constitution over the last 238 years in safeguarding the rights and freedoms cherished by Americans.
